Actually, now that I think about it… If anyone is planning on going to EyeCon in November and wants to maybe car pool and/or share rooms let me know. Because if I can car pool or split the cost of a room it would be a lot more likely that I could go. I’m in South Carolina so anyone in South Carolina/North Carolina or surrounding areas let me know and maybe we could talk something over.

That’s alright! A lot of people don’t know… Different families work different ways so people don’t always know. But I am hoping he does to EyeCon because that’s my best bet and that’s the one I keep watching for updates because it’s nearby and it’s pretty cheap. Thanks for the tips and I hope I can somehow save the money to go… I just wish there was something I could do (commissions or something) specifically to raise money to go but I don’t know how to do anything except write a little xD

Yeah I heard about him being in the show so I’m really excited for that! Waiting for Alaric to appear is all that keeps me watching, haha. 

I am just hoping Matt gets confirmed for EyeCon in Atlanta because that’s the only one I can ever really go to. 

Anonymous: Is there a convention near you for TVD you could go to with Matt there? As expensive as they are, general tickets tend to be pretty cheapish. Like $50? Then you can just get a photo op with Matt and his autograph in order to meet him! Yeah it'll still be over $100 but it'll probably be less than $200 and maybe you could compromise with your parents or get it as a birthday/Christmas (or whatever you celebrate) gift?

Thanks for all the ideas! But there are no conventions with Matt near me YET, which is why I’m watching for them really closely to wait for him to be confirmed somewhere. But I’m almost 20 years old, my parents don’t buy me presents. I haven’t gotten presents since I was 15… I have to buy everything on my own and that’s why it’s a problem… If he went to, like, a convention in Atlanta next year, I would be able to drive there on my own without having to take too much time off my two jobs haha.

I keep watching the announcements… I’m subscribed to the TVD Con news and I get it sent to my phone and I always check to see if Matt is confirmed anywhere near me… If he went to Atlanta I would be there in a heart beat but that’s the only one close enough for me to go and he isn’t going there yet :S
